Instructions

  • Add rose water or orange blossom water and let it cool.

  • Place shredded kunafa pastry in a bowl.
  • Pour melted butter over it and mix well to coat evenly.

3. Assemble the Kunafa

  • Grease a baking dish or pan.
  • Press half of the kunafa mixture into the bottom.
  • Add an even layer of cheese.
  • Cover with the remaining kunafa and press gently.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes until golden and crispy.

5. Add Syrup & Garnish

  • Pour cooled sugar syrup over hot kunafa immediately after baking.
  • Sprinkle crushed pistachios on top.
