  • 500g ground beef or mutton (keema)
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 green chilies, chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes, finely chopped
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander and mint leaves
  • Water as needed

🍳 Instructions

  1. Heat Oil & Sauté Onions
    Heat oil in a deep pan. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

  2. Add Aromatics
    Stir in ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Cook for a minute until fragrant.

  3. Add Tomatoes & Spices
    Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric, red chili, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until tomatoes are soft and oil separates.

  4. Add Yogurt & Mix
    Stir in yogurt and cook for 2–3 minutes until well combined.

  5. Add Minced Meat (Keema)
    Add the ground meat and mix thoroughly. Cook on medium heat until the keema changes color and begins to brown.

  6. Simmer
    Add ½ cup water. Cover and simmer for 15–20 minutes or until keema is tender and oil separates. Stir occasionally.

  7. Finish with Garam Masala & Herbs
    Sprinkle garam masala, chopped coriander, and mint leaves. Simmer uncovered for 5 more minutes.
